Where Is Your Shelter in the Storm?

When days are difficult and times are tough, it can feel like the winds of November are beating down our doors. Where do you find shelter from the storm? Is there refuge for the lonely, the broken hearted, the poor and the troubled soul? Where does our help come from? It comes from the Lord. "The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms!" (Deuteronomy 33:27)

"You are my refuge -- my portion in the land of the living!" (Psalm 142:5)

"You have a mighty arm; Strong is Your hand, and high is Your right hand!" (Psalm 89:13)

When we suffer in this life, we can find solace and refuge in our Lord.

"He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom." (Isaiah 40:11)

Just as a shepherd cares for his sheep, Jesus cares for those who belong to Him.
