Wednesday marks 12 years since the horrific events of September 11, 2001. Today we ask that you take a moment to reflect on the condition of our country and the world on the day before those events took place. The summer had just ended, schools were back in session and people were going about their normal, everyday schedules on September 10, 2001…. The next day everything changed.
We ask that tomorrow you remember those people whose lives were taken on that day by an act of unprecedented terrorism; and also remember those who risked their lives, and those who gave their lives, in acts of heroism is the aftermath of the attacks.
Most importantly, remember our God. As we continue to face uncertainty and concerns about the condition of our world and the hearts of mankind, let us REMEMBER that our God is Sovereign. Walk in His will and His ways, and trust in His goodness.
